Clarion CNet – wireless datalink system with Windows software
Part Number  BE143

Definition

Clarion CNet relies upon Basic Instrument's field proven Clarion system of wireless communication.  See our Clarion datasheet for additional technical information. In addition to standard Clarion transceivers, smaller, specialized transceivers in the form of key fobs or pushbutton stations, communicate with a basestation.  A user need only push a button once to signal.  It may be setup to require triple clicks as well, and to regulate the amount of clicks per hour.  The basestation is connected to a PC which runs the Clarion CNetView program (for MS Windows XP / Vista). CNetView allows a wide variety of response, including emails, SMS messages, traditional pages, automated telephone calls, and reporting timestamped messages to a SQL database.  Clarion CNet is well suited for use in large institutions, hospitals, nursing homes, logistics operations, warehouses.  Distances to 400’ (120m) are possible.  Every transmitter is assigned a unique address in order to prevent interference with other systems.  The protocol is also designed to minimize data collisions, so high density applications are possible .
