Part Number BE301
Definition
The ModelPFG is a portable, rugged instrument for generating arbitrary
waveforms. Standard waveforms, such as sine and sawtooth, are
easily summoned from the user interface. More sophisticated
waveforms, such as audio or simulation results, are easily downloaded,
stored, and replayed. The PFG is a high-precision
digital instrument and it uses sophisticated digital signal processing
algorithms. Lower quality devices typically do not perform these
algorithms well, if they attempt them at all. The PFG is portable,
so it may be taken into the field.
For the ability
to execute eight independent, synchronized waveforms, see our PFG-8.
